Kenneth E. Myers, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday January 30, 2026, surrounded by his family at the Vero of Bethlehem. Born in Wellsville, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Krone) Myers and predeceased by his brother, Richard “Dick” Myers. Kenneth was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Laura A. (Marcello) Myers for 61 years and an exemplary parent to his children Julie (Myers) Patterson and Ken Myers Jr.

Shortly after high school, Kenneth honorably served his country in the US Army at the end of the Korean War and was awarded a Purple Heart. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. For 30 years, Kenneth worked in management for Caterpillar Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer and past President of the PA Society of Professional Engineers. He exhibited his passion for engineering by judging at science fairs and by awarding deserving college students engineering scholarships. Some of his favorite past times were boating, skiing, and traveling with his family.

Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Laura A. Myers, son, Kenneth Myers Jr. (wife Tricia), daughter, Julie Myers Patterson (husband Trip), and his grandchildren, Ben, Lauren, Autumn, and Natalie.

A visitation will be held from 11 - 12 noon on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. A short burial service will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery for the immediate family. All others are invited to a lunch reception in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Bethlehem or to the Hospice Care Team at 5325 Northgate Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
