Kenneth W. Ogden, 72, of Cuba, IL, passed away at 8:39 am on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Clayberg Fulton County Nursing Center in Cuba. He was born on Sunday, January 28, 1951 in Havana, IL, the son of DeVere and Mary (Grove) Ogden.

He is survived by his three sisters; Nancy (and Kevin) Roberts of Bryant, IL, Patty (and Gary) Merrill of Canton, IL, and Brenda (and Chris) VanAllman of Chicago, IL, and five nieces and nephews; Aimee Roberts, Jennifer (and Isaac) Teel, Kaitlin Roberts, Jessica Merrill, and Paul VanAllman.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents.

He loved to sketch or draw, gardening, bird watching, wildlife, and county music, especially Johnny Cash. He also loved watching western movies, especially ones featuring John Wayne, and could not be bothered while watching. Kenneth was a history buff and had a special interest in World War II history.

Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Kevin Roberts will be officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Astoria Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Clayberg Fulton County Nursing Center in Cuba.
