Kenneth Lloyd Oldaker

Kenneth Lloyd Oldaker, 81, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment to share a memory or kind thought with Kenneth's family at www.andersonbethany.com.
There will be a Funeral Service held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, with Jack Ferguson officiating. An interment will follow at McBride Cemetery, with full military honors.
Kenneth was born on July 21, 1943, in George and Elizabeth Oldaker, in Roswell, New Mexico. He attended schools and like many others his age joined the work force at a young age. At the age of 19, Kenneth enlisted in the United States Army on April 10, 1962, in El Paso, Texas. He served his country proudly until March 30, 1964, when he was honorably discharged, however he remained on the active reserve list until April 9, 1968. After his time in the military service, Kenneth returned to the workforce and began working for the Chaves County Road Department, where he served until retirement. Kenneth enjoyed all the things that involved the outdoors, especially camping, working on vehicles, and his favorite pastime of all, fishing. Some of his greatest times were spent at the lake, his calming spot.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Oldaker Dees, and her husband Clint, and Alice Oldaker; step-children, Cindy Bignell, and her husband Mike, Sherry DeVries, and Marchell Devries; grandchildren, Austin Dees, Brooke O'Rielley, and her husband Dillon, Makaylah Dees, Tayllor Burkhart, Ashlee Burkhart, Kylee Coats, Nathan Bignell, Chris Adams, and Crystal Adams; great-grandchildren, Aracelli Garcia, Emma Garcia, Anthony Adams, Delilah Garcia, and Robbie Adams; nieces and nephews, Donna Rathburn, Rick Jacobs, Mark Jacobs, Marynell Glasspole, and many others.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, George Oldaker Sr. and Elizabeth Shores Oldaker Massingill; grandparents, John Oldaker, Robert Shores, and Frances Dollarhide Oldaker; great-grandparents, Alfred Shores and Almirinda Shores; siblings, Blanche Glasspoole, Violet Johnson, Jimmy Oldaker, Alice Jacobs, Charles Oldaker, Cecil Oldaker, Pearl Giorengo, Wanda Glasspoole, Janie Massingill, Annie Loyd, Martha Rose Glasspoole, George Oldaker, and Lillie Bridge; nephew, Steve Jacobs; and granddaughter, Cassidy Ann Devries.
Honored to be pallbearers and carry Kenneth to his final resting spot will be Austin Dees, Clint Dees, Dillon O'Rielley, Wayne Perez, Allen Coats, and Robbie Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Bignell, Makaylah Dees, Brooke Dees, Ashlee Burkhart, Tayllor Burkhart, and Kylee Coats.
