Kenneth C. Palmer

Kenneth "Ken" C. Palmer, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford, Maine, at the age of 69. Ken, a resident of Limerick, Maine, was surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 12, 1956, Ken grew up in the South Portland, Maine area and attended South Portland High School. His deep sense of duty led him to enlist in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country for 20 years. Just before his first deployment serving he met the love of his life, Brenda Porter, and together they raised three children while stationed both here and abroad.
After retiring from the military, Ken embarked on a second fulfilling career as a dedicated truck driver for Westbrook NAPA, where he worked for 25 years before retiring.
Ken will be remembered as a man of great dedication-to his country, his work, and, above all, his family. His legacy lives on through the many generations he nurtured.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Brenda (Porter) Palmer; his three children: daughters Deniece Palmer and Yvonne Palmer-Smith, and son Charles Palmer and his wife, Lindsay. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Palmer.
He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Zackary, Vincent, Nadia, and Makayla Smith, and Madysen and Landon Palmer. He was also a great-grandfather to Finnegan Daniels.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd L. Palmer Sr. and Winnifred (Woods) Palmer; his brother, Lloyd L. Palmer Jr.; and his sister, Beverly Palmer.
Per Ken's wishes, he will be cremated, and there will be no formal services.
