Kenneth Pippin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Dec. 8, 2025.
Kenneth Ray Pippin, age 71, of Pace, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2025, after a long illness.

Ken was born on January 13, 1954, in Panama City, Florida, to Velma and Cecil Pippin, and was raised in Port St. Joe. He was proud to have never missed a single day of grade school in all 13 years-a testament to his dedication, discipline, and spirit even from a young age.

In 1975, Ken married the love of his life, Brenda, in Milton, where they made their home and built a life filled with faith, family, and love. In his healthy years, Ken found joy in freshwater fishing, cheering on FSU football, serving in church ministry, and watching his son and grandsons play baseball. He was also a talented singer/songwriter, having written several gospel songs, some of which were recorded and shared beyond his family circle.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Velma Pippin and his brother, Wesley Pippin.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Brenda Pippin; his son, Ashley Pippin (Amanda); his daughter, Amy Rogers (Bobby); and his cherished grandchildren: Summer, Brody, Kylie, Jackson, Evie, Carson, and Rylie-all of Pace, Florida.

Ken is also survived by his siblings: Craig Pippin (Michelle) of Panama City, Florida; Kyle Pippin (Sheri) of Clarksville, Tennessee; and Cissi McClamma (Larry) of Wewahitchka, Florida; and nieces and nephews, Chad Pippin, Zachary Pippin, and Sarah Chaube.

Ken lived his life for his family and was known throughout the community as a selfless giver. His generous heart, warm presence, and love for people left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family extends heartfelt appreciation to his dedicated home health caregivers Micah (Covenant Care), Joanna, and Melissa (Primary Care).

His children would like to express their deepest gratitude to their mother for the years of loving care she gave their dad, especially during his illness.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. where he will be laid to rest at Milton Cemetery.
