Obituary of Kenneth Joseph Plis
Kenneth Joseph Plis, 76, of Manalapan passed away at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel on Monday, October 6, 2025. He grew up in Roselle and had lived in Roselle Park where he and Kathleen raised their family before settling in Manalapan in 2010. Kenneth was the owner and operator of Trico Poly Systems for 20 years and was a dedicated businessman with a strong work ethic. His greatest joy in life was his family, particularly his grandson Levon. Kenneth had a passion for golfing and enjoyed spending time at his home in Highland Beach Florida. He also had a knack for fixing things and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Those who knew Kenneth will remember him for his infectious smile and his jovial personality. He brought laughter and happiness wherever he went, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Kenneth is predeceased by his son, Kenneth J. Plis, Jr; parents, Joseph and Mary Plis; sister, in law, Nancy Plis and Claude. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Plis of Manalapan; son, Brennan Plis and his wife, Regina Arevalo and their son, Levon of Morristown; brother, Randolph Plis of Forked River and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 186 Gordons Corner Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726.
