Kenneth R. Pommerencke, best friend to Bella Pommerencke, affectionately known as “Poppy,” of Napanoch, NY, left this world peacefully and surrounded by loved ones at home on January 14, 2025, at the age of 73. Ken is survived by the love of his life, Cynthia (Bowen) Pommerencke. He was the proud father to 6 beautiful children. Kenneth Pommerencke and his wife Nicole, Randal Pommerencke and his wife Masumi, predeceased by his beloved Ryan Pommerencke, Matthew Pommerencke, Dylan Pommerencke, and his “sweet potato” Emily Pommerencke. His three grandchildren, Paige, Mason, and his dearest “Pinky”, who brought immense joy and happiness to his life. It’s not often you meet your best friend at the age of 67, but Ken did. Bella and Poppy had a bond and connection that’s rare in life and should be cherished. And he will forever live in Bella. Poppy was always the happiest with his Pinky on his lap reading their Mo William’s books or chit chatting at night with his silly chatterbox. Bella describes him the best, he’s the nicest, kindest, best Poppy ever, ever, ever. Poppy rightfully owns the title of Bella’s most loved person ever, and he forever will.
In addition to his immediate family, Ken was the proud uncle, often known as “Uncle Muzzy” to many, many nieces and nephews; Heather, Erin, Brenden, Jason, Kristin, Cory, Allie, Jared, Kenneth, Katie, Jeremy, Jacob, Jeremiah, Zachary, Kristen, Katie, Laura, Cara, & Tessa.
