Kenneth "Kenny" V. Primeau Jr., 41, of
Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on June 19, 2025.
Kenny was born in
Alexandria, VA to Kenneth V. Primeau Sr. and Patricia A. Morrison. He was a proud graduate of the Thomas A. Edison High School Class of 2002. After high school, Kenny explored his interests by working as a stagehand in the music industry, where he combined his love of music and sense of adventure.
Music was a cornerstone of Kenny's life. From a young age, he found peace and purpose in music, especially in playing the drums. He found joy in expressing himself through rhythms of his music, artwork, captivating drawings, and insightful poetry. He embraced these passions throughout his life, bringing his unique perspective to everything he touched. Kenny also cherished the simple joys of life, particularly his love for computer gaming and the art of cooking, finding immense joy in serving and sharing meals with those he loved.
Kenny will be remembered as a true friend - someone who could always see the bright side of things even in tough situations. He had a remarkable ability to face life with honesty, courage, and humor. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around him.
Kenny is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Lorraine Primeau; his grandparents, Buddy C. and Johanna Morrison. He is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Gooding; his father, Kenneth V. Primeau Sr.; his mother, Patricia Johnson; his sister, Felicia Capote; his brother, Anthony Morrison; his uncle, Michael Primeau; aunts Audrey Primeau and Kimberly Brown; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 W. Braddock Road,
Alexandria, VA 22302. Family and Friends are invited to gather in remembrance and share stories, poems, artwork, and love in honor of Kenny's beautiful and lasting spirit.
