Kenneth L. "Ken" Resch, age 81 of Manitowoc passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Ken was born December 5, 1942 in Manitowoc county, son of the late Frank and Marian (Linzmeier) Resch. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1961.
In Ken's younger years he enjoyed going to the beach with his daughter to look for "cool" rocks. When he was younger he also enjoyed family gatherings and was an avid bowler. He was involved with a few bowling leagues and would sometimes bring his daughter bowling. He enjoyed watching baseball and football games and listened to country music. Later on in life he started collecting coins and had a fairly large collection at the end of his life.
Ken worked at Mirro for a few years but spent most of his working years at Eastman/Parker
Survivors include his daughter: Ann Dean; his grandchildren: Nicole Dean and her husband Matt Court, and Joshua Dean; three sisters: Shirley Resch, Christine (Jules) Cappelle and Madonna Resch; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Marian Resch, an infant brother and sister, one sister Dorothy Resch, one brother Francis Resch, and one infant granddaughter Cassandra Rose Dean.
Cremation has taken place and Private Family Services were held at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Pfeffer location is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com
