Kenneth Rodriguez, 58, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025. He was born on July 18, 1966, to Bonifacio Sr. and Elida "Lillie" C. Rodriguez in Galveston, Texas at John Seally Hosptial. Kenneth Graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1984. While attending college and earning his Bachelor's degree, Kenneth worked many jobs, and he took pride in all the work he did. He had 5 college degrees in total and had begun to work on his Master's Degree. Kenneth was a certified sniper and hostage negotiator, which he gained by taking extra classes and his Master's Police License. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and served in Operation Desert Storm in January of 1991. Later, he went to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 1994 and after 23 years, he retired. He worked in the Police Department for 20 years, and EMS for 8 years and was a volunteer fire fighter in Beeville. Kenneth was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a steadfast friend, who was loved by all who got to know him.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Bonifacio Sr. and Elida "Lillie" C. Rodriguez; his grandparents, Guadalupe and Jesusa Capetillo; his brother, Bonifacio "Wolf" Rodriguez Jr., his nephew and nieces Joe Alexander "Hondo" Ramirez", Brandy Ramirez, and Jessica "Jordi" Sanchez, and his Tio Vare.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Laura Z. Rodriguez, and their three children, Araceli, Loveigh, and Marcos Rodriguez. Kenneth is also survived by his siblings: Vincent (Reyna) Ramirez, Joe Alex (Rosie) Ramirez, Richard (Jeanelle) Ramirez, Arturo (Susan) Rodriguez, Rogelio (Rosy) Rodriguez Sr., Robert (Irma) Rodriguez, Bonnie (Armando) Gonzales, and Maria Alma Sanchez, and his in-laws, Jose and Janie Zamora.
A Visitation will begin at Trevino Funeral Home on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 11:00am - 8:00pm, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Chapel Service will be held by Deacon Roger Rosenbaum at Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 1:00pm. Interment will follow Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be David Tenorio, Joe Trevino, Roy Rodriguez Jr., Joshua Rodriguez, Anthony Ramirez, Jose Garcia, Joe Capetillo, Eddie Alejandro, and Ruben Amador. Marcos Rodriguez will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
Kenneth Rodriguez lived a life full of love, joy, and purpose. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his memory will forever be a beacon of strength and kindness.
