Mr. Kenneth Roger McCroan, age 93, a resident of Coosada, AL passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his home. Mr. McCroan was born in Jackson County, FL on December 2, 1931, to the late Leonard McCroan & Georgia Belle Ayers McCroan. He served in the United States Airforce and he received his bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida. He attended East Memorial Baptist Church. "Mr. Dodge" as he was affectionately known was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Georgia Belle McCroan, his wife Kathryne D. McCroan, his son Kenneth "Ken" Roger McCroan, Jr. and his brother J. L. McCroan. He is survived by his sons Keith (Mary) McCroan, Kevin (Tracy) McCroan, sister Patricia Ayers, sister-in-law Clara McCroan, grandchildren Kenneth R. McCroan III, Tara J. Jones, Thomas M. McCroan, Anna Grace (Dalton) Lawrence and six great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 16481 Hanna Tower Rd., Altha, FL. 32421, with Fate Sewell officiating. Peavy Funeral Home of Blountstown, FL will be assisting with services.
