Kenneth Sexton, 79, of Eubank, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at his residence.

He was born May 27, 1945 in Bethesda, Kentucky; son of the late Cecil & Melissa (Brown) Sexton. He was a retired factory worker for Frank Foundries. He also loved wood working and was always researching and learning about his family history.

He is survived by his children Penny Vickery, Roger & (Wendy) Sexton, Beth & (Richard) Deal, Kimberly Sexton, Calvin Sexton, and Wanda & (Gary) Hammonds; his grandchildren; Timothy Vickery, Michael Vickery, Kevin Sexton, Amanda Lawson, Danny Ray Sexton, Virginia Crowe, Blaine Barret, Johnathan Barret, Lewis Barret, Gregory Bent, Janelle Bent, Kendra Ojaide, Summer Sexton, Melissa Smith, Vanessa Sumner, and Curtis Malone; and his siblings, David, Greg, & Clifford Sexton, and Phyllis Swift;

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lanetta Sexton and his son, Jeremy Jones; siblings, Glenwood, Eugene, Melvin, Danny, & Phillip Sexton, and Sue Arms; grandchildren, Roger Baker, Josh Rudder, Keith Allen Sexton, and James Vickery; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Sexton officiating.

Burial will be in Sexton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 3 PM Thursday, June 27, 2024 until time for services.
