Kenneth D. Shuss, 76, of Marcus Hook passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania his family eventually settled in Marcus Hook and he was a 1968 graduate of Chichester High School.
Following graduation Kenneth entered the United States Army and honorably served our nation during Vietnam. Following his service he obtained a job with Penn Dot, where he worked for 31 years and retired as a Foreman in 2003.
Kenneth enjoyed traveling, country dancing, and going to various flea markets in search of small treasures. He traveled to Wildwood New Jersey for vacations through out the year and always found solace in the presence of the beach. He was extremely proud of his time in the service, loved his country, and always drove a Ford Truck. Above all he cherished time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the 913 Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John Rickabaugh and Dolores Rickabough Gattone.
Survivors: His beloved wife: Linda Sutton, children: Kenneth A. Shuss, Joseph Shuss (Melissa), Susan Nolek (BJ), five grandchildren: John, Nicholas, Angelina, Ava, and Charli.
Visitation: Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
Funeral Mass: Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:00 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery- Linwood, Pennsylvania.
