Kenneth "Kmart" Allen Sorrell, 75, of Nashville, passed away September 20, 2025. Ken was born on February 3, 1950, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from East High School, class of 1968 where he was part of the football and basketball teams and voted Wittiest by his classmates. He worked for over 30 years at Martin Door and Window, a job he truly loved. Ken was a very kind and outgoing person lighting up any room he was in. He loved golf and sports especially his favorite team, Alabama, Roll Tide!! He often said his greatest accomplishment in life were his twin daughters Erica and Chelsea. He was a great father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Sorrell Thompson. Ken is survived by his daughters, Chelsea Sorrell and Erica Sorrell Ates (Devin); Sister, Cathy Sorrell Rogers (Mike); Brother, Larry Sorrell; Grandson, Jackson; Nieces and nephews, Cary Hunt, Tracy Wilson, Chris Rogers, and Taylor Mitchell; And many great-nieces and -nephews, cousins, and great friends. A celebration of life visitation will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216, from 2 pm until 5 pm.
