Barbara Ruth Savage "WaWa", age 73 of Nashville, passed away September 20, 2025. She was a loving mother figure to many, many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Barbara loved everything related to nature. She loved flowers and plants, and loved to garden. Barbara enjoyed being outdoors and watching and listening to the birds. Above everything else, Barbara loved her family so much and was always the fun aunt. She never met a stranger and would have given her last penny to a complete stranger. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Dovie Savage; brothers, Delbert Savage, Robert Savage, and James Savage; sisters, Ethel Durham, Peggy Smith, and Binnie Savage. She is survived by her sisters, Irene Crouch (Merle), Joann Johnson, Emma VanDalsem (Ed), and Patsy Locklear (Ed); brother, David Savage (Brenda); grandsons, Trey Kinnard and Isaiah Kinnard; very special great-nephews, Kasyn Irving, Koen Ramirez, and Elias Ramirez, Jr., and many many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Saturday, September 27th, from 9am-8pm and Sunday, September 28th, from 10am until the time of service at 1pm.
