Kenneth confessed his life to Christ May 29, 2005. Kenneth was a member of the New Life Family Bible Church of Newark, NJ. He had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone. He was outgoing and had a beautiful spirit. Kenneth lived life to the fullest. He was a very hardworking man, as he was always quick to help family, friends, and neighbors. You could always find him doing something; cooking, hanging a picture, changing out a lock, doing some minor plumbing, construction work, or even shoveling snow.
Kenneth's greatest compassion in life was his family. He was a dedicated husband, loving and devoted father, phenomenal grandfather, caring brother, uncle, and cousin. In addition to loving his children and family he was a sports fanatic! He loved the Dallas Cowboys as they were his favorite team of all time!
Kenneth's dedication to all, his smile, crazy humor, commitment, and helpfulness will be missed by all. On Friday, September 19,2025 Kenneth departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Helen Page and David Jones of Durham, NC; devoted and loving wife of 18 years, Rhonda McDonald of Newark, NJ: 4 children, Kendall Sparks of Kearny, NJ, Quanisha Sparks Jones (Tyrell) of Grady, AL, Shakeeta Sparks of Brundidge, AL, and Taina Sparks of Grady, AL; nine grandchildren, Alyssa Sparks, Xirhiyah Sparks, Tristen Sparks, Kiy'ara Sparks, Tyra Lynn Jones, Titan Jones, Akeria Sparks, Tyson Sparks, and Nylah Sparks; four siblings, Eugene Sparks of Newark, NJ, David Jones Jr. of Newark, NJ, Venlander Jones of Durham, NC, and Tysheba Jones of Bloomfield, NJ; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
