Kenneth Stateler

Ken Stateler of Valrico, Florida passed away December 24, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. Ken is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his three daughters, Dianne Rosa (Sal), Jennifer Raven (Tracey), and Amy Miller (Grady); and his six grandchildren, Ryan Rosa, Courtney Rosa, Molly Raven, Andy Huizinga, Patrick Miller, Matthew Miller.

Ken was born October 15, 1944 in Rockport, Indiana and raised in Boonville, Indiana. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1963 and earned his degree from Indiana State University in 1967. Ken dedicated his professional life to FMC Corporation, where he worked for 33 years. Ken began his career as Senior Buyer in Indianapolis, Indiana before relocating to Lakeland, Florida where he served as Purchasing Manager, Materials Manager, then Plant Manager. Ken culminated his career at FMC's Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois as Director of Corporate Purchasing. Ken retired to River Hills Country Club in 1998, where he embraced a life centered on family and community.

Ken enjoyed his time on the golf course and a good card game with his wife and friends. Ken treasured time with his family and was a constant presence at his grandchildren's sporting events, scouting activities and school plays, proudly supporting them in every pursuit. Ken served on several HOA committees and fulfilled multiple terms on the HOA Board of Directors, to include time as the River Hills HOA President. Ken was also an avid reader with a deep love of American history and enjoyed making woodworking projects for his family.

Ken was proceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Emma (Pierce) Stateler and his sister, Phyllis Lewis. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3 at 12:30 PM at River Hills Country Club.
