Kenneth Swensen Obituary
He was born on June 28th, 1933 to Elmer and Marie (Sable) Swensen in Minneapolis and was a proud graduate of the Roosevelt High School Class of 1951.
Upon graduation, he played baseball in the minor leagues, attended Mankato State University and enlisted in the Army while serving his time in Germany during the Korean War. Ken spent his entire career with Northwestern Bell (Century Link) and enjoyed retirement with his homeowner's communities in Apple Valley, MN and Mesa, AZ.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, Deanna (Draper), Daughter, Sharon and five siblings. He is survived by his four sons, Steven (Kate) grandchildren, Toly and Pavel. Stuart (Christine) grandchildren, Josh and Jon. Scott; grandchildren Elizabeth (Anthony), Erin (Luke), Nicole (Alex) and Lindsey. Sheldon (Linda).
A private family service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a future date.
