Lynda was born the first child and daughter to Ottis L. And Janice Taylor Lasater on March 3, 1936, at 3:00 am in Salt Lake City, Utah passed on October 25, 2025, at 5:25 pm. Lynda had a thing for numbers, and it is evidenced in her birth and death dates. Her parents named her with three "Ls" in her name and so when her parents had their sixth child, Robert, he would call her "Lee Lee". She is survived by her 7 children, Loran (Dalia) Swensen, Darrell (Anne) Swensen, Vicki (Chino) Baena, Donald Swensen, Nancy (Michael) Smith, James (Jennifer) Swensen, Michael Swensen. 23 Grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren, three sisters; Mariane Leslie, Karen (Denis) Jensen, Colleen (Dave) Stockfish, and two brothers Robert (Clinda) Lasater, and David (Denise) Lasater. Lynda is preceded in death by her dear parents Ottis LeRoy and Janice Bolto Taylor Lasater. Her loving husband Loran E Swensen and daughter Mary Eva Swensen, and her sisters and their husbands Gay (Bill) Parker, Kathleen (Leroy) Bills.
Lynda married Loran E. Swensen in the Salt Lake Temple on March 15th, 1956. She then later followed him to Germany, where he was the in the Air Force. There they began their family with their first son while in Germany. The next 4 children were born in Provo, then Mary while they lived in Idaho and then the last 2 boys while living in California.
Lynda shared many happy hours with the family in outings, picnics parades, and parties. She helped her mother plan and executed many of them. Her mother taught her how to work, to be thrifty, and to be kind and loving.

Lynda, later in their family's life, went to work in the Provo Temple clothing department. She later transferred to the Jordan River Temple as an assistant to the Supervisor and then when the supervisor retired, she became the supervisor until her retirement in 2002.
She loved her work there and gained an eternal love for the dear sisters and brothers who worked with her. Lynda made everyone feel seen and valued. We are all better people because we knew her and loved her. Lynda has a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and for her family. She looked forward to the time they can all be an eternal family. We are grateful she has been released from all her pain and suffering and is currently renewing eternal friendships with family and loved ones. Even though Lynda is so longer with us her spirit lives on in the way we treat each other, in the laughter we share, and in the love that continues to bind us together.
