Mark Taylor, 64, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, Florida. A proud resident of The Villages since 2012, Mark filled his days with the simple joys of Florida living.

Born in Parkville, Maryland, Mark grew up with a strong sense of family and adventure. After serving his country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, he went on to build a successful career as a construction superintendent-a role that suited his sharp mind and no-nonsense attitude.

Mark was predeceased by his beloved parents, Terence (Terry) and Joan Taylor. He is survived by his two brothers, Michael (Donna) of West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Matthew (Pamela) of Longs, South Carolina; his nephews, Stefan, Nathaniel (Jessica), and Zachary; and a large circle of close friends who became like family over the years.

Mark's faith was a quiet but constant source of strength throughout his life. He believed deeply in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and found peace and assurance in that relationship. His faith guided the way he treated others and gave him comfort and hope as he faced life's challenges.

An avid golfer, Mark achieved the remarkable feat of four career hole-in-ones-something he'd tell you about with just the right mix of pride and a wink. When he wasn't on the course, you could find him outside with a book in hand, a pair of binoculars nearby, keeping an eye on the local birds and enjoying the quiet rhythm of the afternoon, and of course, enjoying the affection from his much loved cats, Millie and Willie.

Mark's warmth and easygoing spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. His life was filled with friendship and an appreciation for the little things that make a day good.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date in The Villages, where his friends and family can gather to share stories and raise a glass in his honor.
