Kenneth Raymond "Ken" Thrailkill

Kenneth "Ken" Raymond Thrailkill passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, or to Animal Lifeline of Iowa in Des Moines.
Ken was a man of deep faith who knew his Bible well and lived his life guided by those teachings. Always ready with a helping hand or a good joke, he was known for his generosity, humor, and skill as a handyman. He could fix just about anything-and always found a way to make people smile while doing it.
Ken was married for 61 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Sue (Worrall) Thrailkill, who remained faithfully by his side through every joy and challenge. He is survived by Sue; his sister, Gladys Dunbar; his brother, Bob Thrailkill; and his daughters, Troy Fee (Curt) and Terry Miller (Chris).
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Londen, Ashley, Ian, and Emma, and recently delighted in becoming a great-grandfather to little Josephine. His love for his family was the heart of his life, and his spirit will live on through them.
Ken will be remembered for his faith, his kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved.
