Kenneth E Veid Sr.

Kenneth E. Veid Sr., age 79 of Claymont, DE passed away on December 24, 2022 at AccentCare Hospice in Wilmington Hospital. Born in West Virginia, Ken was a longtime resident of Claymont, previously residing in New Castle, DE. Ken was employed by Local Union 451 out of Wilmington, DE as an Iron Worker. He retired in 2001. Ken was a member of the Claymont Moose Lodge 183. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, and fishing. In addition to his parents, Sylvester and Ada May Veid, he is preceded in death by 10 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois E. Moore Veid, 3 children, Kenneth (Teresa) Veid Jr., Suzy (Kurt) Gallagher, and Janet (Frank) Divita, and 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Sky, Roger, Sarah, and Amanda.
