Kenneth Veith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home - Spring Green on Feb. 6, 2026.
Kenneth D. Veith, age 82, of Arena, Wi. formally of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was born on September 11, 1943 in Oshkosh the son of Louis and Emma (Krueger) Veith.

Ken grew up in Oshkosh, Wi. and was the 11th of 13 children. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting everything from quail to elk and fishing for anything with fins! He also enjoyed visits to the casino to make bets on horses, cheering on (and placing bets) sport teams, playing euchre and poker and singing along to most any 70's songs. He also was very active in anything to do with Veterans. A wonderful event for both Ken and daughter, Pauline, was the honor of attending the Badger Honor Flight in Madison with other Vietnam Veterans.

Ken was first and foremost, a proud and loving father and grandfather. Second was a veteran and 3rd a brother, uncle, friend to any that he could share countless jokes and a drink with. He loved outings, talking about his cabin, family, trips, fishing in Costa Rica and living in Henderson,NV where he soared being a part of the VFW there including being Commander in 2005 and bar manager until 2017.

He still spoke of wanting to go back to visit friends in Vegas, hoping to fish in Mexico and being with friends and family but his body was too tired and the Good Lord called him home to be with the many loved ones that went home before him including his parents, all but 2 remaining siblings and step daughter, Shannon.

Survivors include his daughter, Pauline (Rick) Konitzer; grandchildren, Alexa, Kayli, Jessica, Cora; step sons, Tyrone and Steven Beall; brother Ed(Josie)Veith and sister Rosemary Veith, nieces, nephews, and countless other relatives and friends. Special thanks to friends Doris, Chuck, Hiram and Janice in Vegas, along with countless others that he missed dearly when moving back to Wisconsin. And dear friends Doyle and euchre partner, Ken here in Wi. Ken truly would speak of and remember fondly, those that he crossed paths with.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Ken would be SO very honored if you would donate to Badger Honor Flight, your local VFW or any veteran organization.

Rest easy, dear Dad. Thank you for all of your love and for always taking care of us. Always your daughter. I will miss you every day until we are together again.
