Jack Veith Obituary
Jackie Elmer Veith, affectionately known as Jack, was born on March 10, 1938, in Monett, Missouri. He passed away on December 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy steeped in hard work, a love for animals, and a flair for humor.
Jack graduated from Purdy High School and spent much of his early years working for local farmers and at the milk plant in Monett, where he gained experience hauling milk. His dedication to agriculture led him to take on the role of Ranch Foreman in Oklahoma, where he worked at least at two different ranches before eventually moving to Texas. In Texas, he contributed his efforts to the Ground Water Tech.
Jack's passion for horses and dogs were constants in his life, and he found joy in tending to his small farm in Texas, where he raised horses, cows, and cared for his beloved dogs. Known for his playful spirit and mischievous jokes, he brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Flossie (Russell) Veith of Purdy, MO; his brother, Larry Veith, and his wife Gloria (Holder) Veith of Purdy, MO; his sister, Helen (Veith) Lowe, and her husband Bill Lowe of Joplin, MO; and his brother-in-law, Bill Kimball of York, PA.
He is survived by his sister, Jean (Veith) Kimball of York, PA; his brother, Bob Veith and his wife Kathy of Hudson, CO; four nephews, Craig Kimball and his wife Jan, Brian Kimball, Mark Kimball and his wife Carol, and Ronnie Veith and his wife ReNee; three nieces, Christi (Lowe) Wells and her husband Jody, Sherri (Veith) Brooks and her husband Kerry, and Amy (Veith) Navarro and her husband Dave and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jack's vivacious spirit and unwavering love for family and animals will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his family and friends. Jack will always be the "Cowboy" we loved!
