Mike Bailey, age 68, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born on March 7, 1957, in Auburn, California, to Johnnie and Wilma (Holt) Bailey. He graduated from Purdy High School in 1975. On May 21, 1976, he married the love of his life, Cherry Mayo, at the United Methodist Church in Cassville, Missouri.

Mike served as a bailiff for Barry County, Missouri, and worked at Able 2 for 28 years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He had a deep love for athletics and spent many years coaching soccer and little league and refereeing volleyball and softball. In his free time, Mike enjoyed the lake, boating, and was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cherry Bailey; one son, John Bailey of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Randi Gideon and her husband Brian of St. Charles, Missouri; three grandchildren, Devin, Layla, and Brandt; two brothers, Montie Bailey and his wife Nancy of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and David Bailey and his wife Lynette of Monett, Missouri; two sisters, Leveta Goldin and her husband Morry of Republic, Missouri, and Betty Hicks of Portsmouth Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, daughter in law Tonya, one sister Mary Jane Brooks and his mother-in-law Haupt Edwards.

Mike will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong faith, and the many lives he touched throughout his community.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Cassville, Missouri. Pastor James Weaver will officiate the service. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at White Funeral home and Crematory. Interment will be at Munsey Cemetery in Eagle Rock, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in St. Louis Missouri and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
