Kenneth Glenn Walley

Kenneth Glenn Walley, 52, of Rusk passed away April 24, 2023 at his home in Rusk surrounded by his family and friends. Kenneth was born May 20, 1970 in Jacksonville to Roy G. "Butch" Walley and Diann DeRee Stanley Walley. He graduated from Alto High School, Class of 1988. He liked to fish and deer hunt.
He is survived by his daughters: Jacie Robertson and her husband Justin of Rusk, and Cera Reynolds and her husband Jon of Rusk; grandchildren: Aubree, Allie, Addalynn, Emberly; mother: Diann Walley; father: Roy G. "Butch" Walley and his wife LaRae; brothers: Johnny Walley, and Brian Walley and his significant other, Ronde "Bo"; special friends: Joe and Judy Morris as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy E. Walley, Mary Lou Walley, Jean Walley, Johnny Penick and Lucille Penick.
Visitation will be held Wednesday April, 26 at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM. An additional visitation will also be held prior to the service on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church, 250 CR 2303, Rusk, TX, with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Brad Turlington and Bro. Rodney McDuff officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Alto. Pallbearers will be: Brian Walley, Johnny Walley, Trey Thompson, Phillip Watson, Wade Watson, Joe Morris, Braden Walley, Jason Nevil, Mike Stanley, and Kent Stanley. Services are being held under the direction of the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Rusk, TX.
