Kenneth Warren Volker Obituary
November 21, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00 am
at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 am prior to
the service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Following the funeral, a Celebration of Life will be
held from 3:00-6:00 pm in the Cascade Room at the JW Marriott Las Vegas.
Warren was born in Grand Forks, ND to Warren Kenneth Volker and Alberta "Bobbie" Volker on
August 16, 1963. Warren married the love of his life, Michele Renae Beauchamp on June 4,
1988, in East Grand Forks, MN. They raised 3 beautiful children, Adam, Alex, and Alyssa. He
was extremely proud of his children, his precious granddaughter Vaile, and their beloved family
furry friend, Boo. Warren was passionate about health and fitness, completing a Spartan
Trifecta Race and hiking on weekends. He had varied interests and hobbies, from being a car
enthusiast to teaching himself to play the guitar and ukulele.
Warren was a philanthropist, mentor, teacher, leader, lifelong learner, and alumni of The
University of North Dakota Medical School. He had a distinguished career of 20+ years and held
executive leadership positions with Medical Groups, IPA Networks, Hospital MECs, and
Academic Institutions across the country. Warren led and served on several hospital and
university boards within Nevada. As a forward-thinking leader in health care, Warren was
recognized in 2021 as one of the Top 100 physicians by U.S. News and World Report.
Warren was preceded in death by his father Warren Kenneth Volker and his brother William
"Billy" Volker. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Michele and their children Adam (Bailey)
and their daughter Vaile of Las Vegas, NV., Alex (Crosbey) of Las Vegas, NV., and Alyssa of
Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by his mother, Alberta "Bobbie" Volker, Grand Forks, ND,
and siblings Renee Volker of Grand Forks, ND, Rob (Pam) Volker of Argyle, MN, Dawnette
(Rick) Rea of Fargo, ND, Scott Volker of Fargo, ND, and Kristina (Curt) Kotrba of Grand Forks,
ND.

I was going to schedule an appointment with Dr. Volker the other day and thought I'd check online to see if his office had moved since I had not seen him since before the pandemic. That's when I learned about his passing. I'm still in shock. He has been my doctor since 2007, performed two surgeries on me and I saw him regularly for my annual check ups. He also attended the same church that I go to. I once joked with him that I could not look at him those times I saw him outside of his office. He was truly the best doctor I've ever had and I'm sure he is missed by so many. My condolences go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for this HUGE loss. He was my doctor in 2005, the only DOCTOR that helped me through my ENDOMETRIOSIS. The ONLY doctor who BELIEVED MY PAIN WAS REAL. What a kind man for this earth to have been blessed to have. I am so very sorry, as to this terrible news. I JUST hear about. I pray for his family.

I am shocked & saddened to hear of Dr. Volker´s passing. My sympathies go out to his wife, family & close friends.
As a patient of Dr. Volker´s for 20 years, , I can say he was the best!! He was a knowledgeable , professional & talent surgeon who was always kind, calm & compassionate. He will be difficult to replace as an OBGyn. Love & prayers to his family & loved ones. Rest in Peace Dr. Volker.

I only learned today of Dr. Volker's passing and I am heart-broken. He was my doctor for the past 19 years, and I also considered him a friend. He is the reason I was able to have 2 wonderful children of my own, and we would always talk about our kids over the year and how much they had grown. When I saw him in July, he was so proud to be a grandpa. And I actually took my daughter, who he delivered, for her first appointment with him.
I am having a hard time imaging a world without such an amazing person in it. He was one of the smartest and kindest people I have known, and he helped me through so many trials with my difficult medical issues. He had such a caring and calm manner to him, and he is sorely missed.
Please know that I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. I would be so proud to make a donation in his honor. Please let me know if a foundation is started in his name, or if there is anyway that I could be of help.

Dr. Volker was one of the kindest, most caring doctors I´ve ever known. He has been my GYN since moving to Nevada quite some time ago. A few months ago he was telling me about Intermountain and his involvement with it. We ended with "see you next year". How very sad to know that won´t happen. Condolences to his family and God bless. He was an exceptional doctor, hard working, compassionate, intelligent, caring, and most of all calm and listened to issues and concerns.
