Latice Trevon Sutton, 57, of Los Angeles has passed away on Sep. 12th, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Latice Sutton was born in Los Angeles, California to the parents Margaret Harris and Solden Andrew Johnson on Sep. 27th, 1967.
Latice grew up in South Central, Los Angeles, where she attended Locke High School. While in High School, she had her first daughter Mitrice Richardson, who she adored. She later met and married Larry D. Sutton, and extended her love to the son she gained, Maurice D. Sutton, and later had her youngest daughter Miiah A. Sutton who she loved dearly.
Latice was a deep believer God and accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior. During her time on this earth, she was an accomplished entrepreneur and an amazing business women as she diligently worked to improve the life of her children. She was a doting and dedicated mother and friend that continuously strived to encourage and breath life into everyone she touched. She was a loved mentor and leader to all that sought her advice. She was an avid and enthusiastic learner that was in the process of completing her bachelors degree
Latice is preceded by her father Solden Johnson, her grandmother Mildred Harris, her uncle Eddie Harris along with his wife Beverly, her auntie Margret Ross and uncle David Ross, and her daughter Mitrice Richardson.
Latice is survived by her husband Larry D. Sutton her bothers Melvin Wade and Damien Owens, her youngest daughter Miiah A. Sutton, her step-son Maurice D. Sutton, her sister-in-law Jocelyn Wade, her nieces Genesis Wade and Xeynah Mcdade-Madden, her nephews Solomon Wade, Zerre Owens, and Damien Mcdade, her grandson Maurice D Sutton Jr., and her dear friends Shannon Ludden, Lauren Sutton, Lamont Nichols, Regina Robertson, and Jean Augustine along with a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on September 26th, 2025 at New Testament Church with Elder Robert Hendricks officiating.
The family of Latice Sutton would like to thank you so much for all of the kindness shown to us during our time of bereavement. We appreciate the comfort of your prayers, kind words, warm embraces, and all of the many expressions of sympathy shown to our family during this farewell and celebration of the life of Latice Sutton. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to all that have helped make this memorial happen. Thank you so much and may God bless you.
