Kenneth was a proud Navy veteran who carried his sense of duty and love of country throughout his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and adventurer who found joy in nature, and a passionate history buff who was always eager to learn and share stories of the past.
Beloved husband of Jean (née Stavnicky), to whom he was married on September 5, 1970. Loving son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Whitehead. Dear brother of Sarah (the late Rande) Reinhard, Jane (Edward) Dixon, and Pam (Mike) Siebert. Cherished uncle of Kristen, Russ, Jennifer, Jessica, Kellie, Sarajane, Katie, David, Jaime, and Erin, and great-uncle to many beloved great-nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, from 2–5 PM at Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd., Solon, where closing services will be held at 5 PM. Interment will take place at Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
