Kenneth Wayne Williams was born on 10/28/1937 to Harlin and Nellie. He passed on 4/24/2024. Kenneth was raised in Borden County and graduated from Borden County High School. He attended Texas Tech University and then worked as a farmer all his life.
He married Mary Lynn Staggs on June 6, 1959. He was a deacon and member of First Baptist Church in O’Donnell and Lubbock. During his time in Borden County, he served on the school board, FSA, gin board and area coop boards.
His greatest joys were being a steward of the land and watching his children and grandchildren’s activities. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 64 years and 10 months, Mary Lynn of Lubbock. His children, Karen and husband Lane of Lubbock, Keith and wife Leigh Anne of Northlake, Kirby of Lubbock and Kelli of Lubbock, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ralph, and grandson Aaron.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the Venue on Broadway.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:30a.m. at First Baptist Church Lubbock, TX.
Interment will be Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:30p.m. at Gail Cemetery in Gail, TX.
