Kenneth Wayne Williamson was born on January 12, 1954, in Lindsey, Oklahoma, to Joyce Peltier and went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025. He was surrounded by his immediate family: Amy, Bree, Sam, Zoe, Chloe, the babies, Robby, Tyler, Kati, Tori and the kids, Josh, Candice, Jacob (by phone), Preacher Mike Haines, and the amazing staff at Stroud Health Care Center.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rebecca Jayne Williamson; mother, Joyce Peltier; brother, Dale Williamson, and several others that had gone on before him. He is survived by sister, Jackie McAlpine; aunt, Judy Wilhoit; sister-in-law, Karla Lombard; 6 children; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He married the love of his life on November 23, 1981, in Wayne, Oklahoma. Together they had 6 children and raised many extras as their own: Robby Williamson and wife, Yvonne of Seminole; Amy Holdridge and husband, Alvin of Prague; Leslie Williamson and husband, Jeremy of Shawnee; James Williamson and wife, Roxy of Florida; Candice Bailey and husband, Josh of Paden, and Brad Mason and wife, Kelly of Shawnee.

Ken began his work life when he was just a teen working many jobs at once. From 1974 to 1980 he was in law enforcement. Some of his proudest accomplishments included Chief of Police in Blanchard, where he delivered a baby in the backseat of a car. From 1980 to 2015, he worked many different positions in the Department of Corrections: Chief of Security at JLCC, Unit Manager at JLCC, and Probation and Parole in Norman, OK. He and Becky owned and operated a facility for the mentally ill in Ada for 10 years and then he got back into the Dept. of Corrections as a correctional officer at Davis Correctional Facility. He retired as a Transportation Officer in 2015 to take care of his wife until she passed away.

His favorite thing to do was to noodle at Eufaula Lake, and he won a competition by catching the biggest catfish by hand. He loved taking his kids, grandkids, and his friends with him as often as he could so that he could teach them how to catch fish the right way. He also loved raising chickens and gained his name, Papa Chicken, from the grandbabies. He was loved by many, and he will be missed by many. He wrote a letter saying:

"When I die, please don't cry for me. Remember that I am in the arms of the Lord and with the love of my life (Becky) and all of my loved ones that have gone on before me. Think of all the amazing things that I am seeing. I don't want any service. I have lived a great life and have no regrets. I have great love for each and every one of you. Please put your trust in the Lord and live a Godly life. I will see you again. Pa"
