He was born in Rogers City to Ford and Eleanor (Quade) Winfield on October 1, 1949.
Ken graduated from Rogers City High School in 1969. Following graduation, he began working at the Calcite plant and retired after 49 years of service.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Herald of Petoskey; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Janet and Glenna.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Ford and Eleanor; and three siblings, Roger, Douglas and Linda (Bob) Wilson.
Friends may visit at St. John Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 12th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice in memory of Ken Winfield.
Arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
