Kenneth "Ken" Earl Winston, age 67, of Marion, TX, passed away on September 28, 2024. He was born on July 20, 1957, in Tyler, Texas, to Harold Anthony and Melba Faye (Neeley) Winston.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tony.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Deborah Winston; sister Kerran (Edwin) Link of Palestine, Texas; daughters Tonia (Terry) Robison of Kyle, Texas; Stephanie (Scott) Dybul of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; stepsons Darren (Carysa) Kutz of Seguin, Texas; Dusty (Katherine) Kutz of St. Leonard, Maryland and grandchildren Zach, Ethan, Abby, Clifton, Barrett, Clara, and Otto. Along with numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His life was marked by his devotion to God. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in fishing, hunting, tinkering around his workshop or spending time with the animals on his farm. He always liked to keep his hands busy, whether tending to his animals or working on projects in his workshop with his dog Angel by his side. He was always dreaming of his next adventure.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at The Country Church, 1005 W FM 78, Marion, TX 78124, with Pastor Butch Ikels officiating. A reception will follow immediately after in the fellowship hall. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. at the Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia, Texas.
