Kenneth Witten Obituary
Ken was born Saturday, Oct. 2, 1965, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Elton Witten and Mary Ruth (Dales) Witten.
Ken was a loving son, partner, nephew and friend. He was funny, the life of the party and always was making others laugh. He loved the holidays, the food and everyone being together. Ken was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Ken was preceded in death by his father.
Ken is survived by his mother, Mary Witten; partner, Thomas Daniels; aunts and uncles, Phylis Durbin, Frieda Fortner, Danny Payne, Becky Stiltner, Rita Deel and Alan Dales; ex-wife, Karen Alvey; and a host of cousins and special friends.
Celebration memorial gathering is from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Arrangements were entrusted to Crest Lawn Funeral Home-Cremation Center.

My deepest sympathy & prayers to Mary & your family. It's been a very long time since we've seen each other. Too many years to try & go back & remember.....but there's some people you can never forget. Course I grew up with Muscles at my Daddy's station & then Elton added sweet Mary & then that gorgeous son Kenny came into your lives. I'm thinking of you (Mary) & your family, please tell the rest of your family that I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts & prayers!!! God bless all of you!!!!

Kenny came up to me at a football game one night. He wanted a tour of my ambulance as we were on standby at the game. After the game I was off duty and on my way home when I passed Kenny and his friend. Their car had broken down. I gave them a ride home. Kenny insisted I drop him off last but after his friend was dropped off, Kenny invited me to have coffee and pie with him at Jerry's Restaurant. I found out that I was expected to pay! LOL! We became very close friends in the days and weeks that followed. Kenny was unique and special. I will forever love and miss him and I am more complete for having had him in my life. If you knew Kenny, then you know what I mean.
