Kenneth Clyde Wray, Jr. passed away on May 16, 2024. He was born August 22, 1948, in Honolulu, HI, to the late Dorothy Krolikowski and Kenneth Clyde Wray.
Kenneth was retired from the United States Navy as a Radioman Senior Chief with 20 years of service, followed with work in government contracts, and worked 12 years in Civil Service. He loved his family and being together at gatherings big and small. He was a passionate fisherman and avid woodworker. He enjoyed watching F1 racing and football games. He loved going on road trips and playing many games of miniature golf with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Janet; daughters Jennifer Stalvey and husband Paul of Christiansburg, VA and Melanie Zeitz and husband Jon of Roanoke, VA; and two grandchildren Lain Stalvey of Westland, MI, and Kelly Tardy and husband Drew of Radford, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel, followed by a graveside service with military honors at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters https://secure.qgiv.com/for/chkd.
