Kenneth Patrick "Kenny" Yearout

Kenneth 'Kenny' Patrick Yearout, 74, died September 23, 2025, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born January 9, 1951, in Arkansas City, KS, to Dwain Lee and Peggy Fern (Crittenden) Yearout.

Kenny graduated from South Haven High School, South Haven, KS. Most of his life, he worked as a truck driver. He worked for Dillons Trucking and for C Bar P Trucking, LLC, out of Wichita, KS and retired in 2015. Kenny was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

During his retirement, Kenny enjoyed fishing, gardening his own roses, and the peace of watching movies and reading his favorite books. His passion for music was evident, and he would often jam out on his guitar to melodies he adored.

In 1971, he married Yvonne Yoder in Hutchinson. They later divorced.

Kenny is survived by: his daughters, Tamra (Thomas) Andsager, Taryn (Walter) Horbotowicz, and Kylie (Cole) Rush; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; father, Dwain Yearout; siblings, Kim, Kathy, and Keith; and son-in-law, Loren Snedeker.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Peggy; infant brother, Leonard; and daughter, Tracy Snedeker.

Cremation has taken place. A come-and-go visitation with family present will take place Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elliott chapel. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Public Library, because of his love for books, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
