Kenneth T. Young, 81 of Carmel, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Ken was born May 13, 1943 in Celina, OH to the late Thomas D. and Margaret E. Young. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hanover College.
Ken was owner and president of G&G Metalspinners until his retirement in 2019. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. He played football and baseball during high school and college and was an avid golfer.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 8 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm.
Ken is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Dawn C. (husband, Jeff) Lang and Kim Y. (husband, Scott) Kauffman; stepchildren, Dave (wife, Suzette) Raber and Wendy Wing; grandchildren, Jack, Nicole and Christian Lang, Cynthia, Charlotte, Abe and Claire Kauffman, Zach, Alex, Kingston and Marshall Raber, Delaney and Keaton Wing; brothers, Jim Young and David Young.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Life Scholarship Fund of the St. Luke’s UMC Endowment, St. Lukes UMC - North Indy, 100 W 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
