Kennith’s academic journey began at Handley High School, from which he graduated in 1957. His pursuit of knowledge continued at Arlington State College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree of Engineering in 1962, setting the foundation for a successful professional career. Kennith dedicated 36 years of his life to a distinguished career at Lockheed Martin, originally General Dynamics, designing and working on military aircraft where his commitment to excellence and innovation left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.
In 1969, Kennith married the love of his life, Linda Wilshire Jobe. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising a daughter, Amy Howell, who shares her life with her husband, William Howell. Kennith's legacy extends to his cherished grandson, Jared Howell, who he adored dearly.
Throughout his life, Kennith was not only known for his professional accomplishments but also for his love of the great outdoors, singing, and serving his community. He was a volunteer police officer for more than 25 years where he served the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Everman. During this time, he completed his police officer certification and was on the Fort Worth police pistol team. He also joined a quartet in college and sang for a few years. After his retirement, he joined the Arlington Sportsman Club and was a part of several shooting groups. He enjoyed these pursuits that brought him joy and fulfillment away from work along with all the friendships he made.
Kennith is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lela Jobe, his siblings, which included four brothers and three sisters, and his nephew CM Cantrell and his wife Barbara.
