Kennith "Kenny" Harl Taylor, 87, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home. He was born November 16, 1937 in McLean County to the late Leamon Harl Taylor and Mildred Catherine Crabtree Taylor. Kenny retired from Sears and was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was previously a battalion chief at Masonville Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Taylor; son, Stephen W. Taylor; grandson, Ian Taylor; and sisters, Janet Delk, Joyce Schafer, and Wanda Schiller.

He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Farmer (Ed); son, Tim Taylor (Anne); seven grandchildren, Rian Taylor (Christina), Nolan Taylor (April), Caleb Taylor (Morgan), Anna Bowen (Sean), Kerry Taylor, Hannah White (Nolan) and Chelsea Taylor; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Dahl of Owensboro, Glenda Smith (Glenn) of Sacramento, and Marqueta Scott of Hopkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ennichment will be in Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
