Kenny Brooks

Kenny Brooks,
Age 61 of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Elmira, NY. He was born February 16, 1962 in Buffalo, NY, to the union of the late J.B. and Mary (Hayes) Brooks and passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 unexpectedly at home. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Willie B. Brooks; sister Sandra Marie Brooks. Kenny leaves to mourn son Coy (Erica) Brooks of Augusta, GA; daughter Kendra Brooks of Elmira; stepson Jr. of Elmira; siblings Mary (Gregory) Slater, Barbara (Sam) Wallace both of Elmira, Margaret (Bernard) Williams of Greensboro, NC, Joel Brooks of Charlotte, NC, Allen (Jodie) Brooks, Michael Scarborough, Jake Brooks all of Elmira. His bff Ricky Allen of Laurel, MD along with a host of nieces and nephews. Kenny relocated from Buffalo to Elmira in 1965 with his family and then to Baltimore 5 years ago. Kenny attended the Elmira City School Dist. He was an outstanding Machinist working for several local companies, Hardinge, Kennedy Valve, Toshiba and in Baltimore he worked for Honeywell and others. Kenny was a longstanding member of Faith Temple Community C.O.G.I.C. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Friday, June 9th at 12 pm in Faith Temple Community C.O.G.I.C., 765 Harper St., Elmira.
