Kenny John Hackman, 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2025 at his home. The family has completed arrangements for cremation and will schedule a committal service at Memory Gardens Cemetery in the near future.
Kenny Hackman was born on January 27, 1956 in McAlester to Herman John and Betty June (Orebaugh) Hackman. Kenny grew up in McAlester and graduated from McAlester High School in 1974. Kenny had worked with his dad for several years, of wholesale sales of produce and other items to grocery stores, schools, and other institutions, and when he retired, Kenny took over the family business. He was currently working as a receiving supervisor for J. C. Penney's in Fayetteville. Kenny liked to play golf, play his harmonica, and collect comic books, albums and other memorabilia. He was a member of the Ozark Blues Society. He was also active in the First Christian Church of Fayetteville.
Kenny is survived by his children, Adam John Hackman, Daniel Stevenson Hackman and Tyler J. Hammons; 5 grandchildren; and his sisters, Jean Beth Smith and husband Eddie, and Lisa Jan Peters and husband Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Drew Michael Peters.
