Kenny Lee Kirkpatrick

 

Kenny Lee Kirkpatrick, 44, of Summerfield passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 16, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Nunn officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Kenny was born in Guilford County, NC to Howard Ned Kirkpatrick, Sr. and Madelen Tilley Kirkpatrick.  He worked for Walmart that was located at Pyramid Village until he became sick with Covid in 2020.  He was of the Baptist Faith and was a strong supporter of the Duke Blue Devils and Monster Jams.  He collected baseball cards  and loved fishin!  Kenny loved spending time with his family and lunch dates with his wife. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mammy and Papa; and mother-in-law, Sanner.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Katie Kirkpatrick; sons, Dameon and C.J. Kirkpatrick; daughter, Cheyenne Kirkpatrick; parents, Howard and Madelen Kirkpatrick; brother, Howard “Bubba” Ned Kirkpatrick, Jr. (Jason Johnson); brother-in-law, Payton Lingle (Amanda); sister-in-law, Emily Bowman (Scott Sisneros); canine companion, “Doodles”; nieces, Blaney, Adalynn and Chloe Lingle; nephews, Holden Bowman and Ben Sisneros; along with numerous other family members.

The family asks that donations be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
