Kent Merksick Obituary
Kent was born November 23, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, to the late Pete and Helen (Donnelly) Merksick.
He is survived by children, Josh, Alysha, Mindy and Trisha; siblings, Pat, Tom, Steve, Tony, Betty, Barbara, Kathy, Annie, Susie; grandchildren, Jesse, Kamille, Kena, Daniel, Emily, Gage, Talyn, McKenna, Jaden and Eligha.
Visitation with the family, Sunday, 4 to 6 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Monday, 3 p.m., at the mortuary. Interment Garner Township Cemetery with a lunch following at the American Legion Club.
The family will direct memorials.

Dad its been almost 2 months since youve gone to heaven to watch over us and NOT a day goes by that i dont think about you! I love you and miss you so much.

It has been at least 26 years since I have seen Kent and I am sad to say I didn't want to finally see him this way. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I had a good time working with Kent and I got to know him both at work and outside of work. It's been a long time since working with him but he had an unforetable sense of humor. I am sure he has found peace.
