Kent A. Miller

Kent A. Miller 79, died Monday, September 18, 2023. Born at East Orange General Hospital, he lived in several cities in Northern New Jersey before moving to Clifton. Kent attended Woodrow Wilson Junior High School in Clifton before returning to East Orange and graduating from East Orange High School. He enlisted in the Marine Corps serving from 1961-1965 as a corporal and became a member of the Marine Corp League. After the service, Kent worked at Hoffman La-Roche in Nutley until 1970 when he started attending William Paterson University. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Kent worked as a graphic artist until his retirement in 1999.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Jennifer Abbott, by his daughter, Jineane Miller-Lajam and husband, Joe of Pompton Lakes, by a sister, Maribeth Weber and husband, Edward of Virginia Beach, VA, by a niece, Melissa G. Loiselle, by a nephew, Marc E. Weber and by great nieces and nephews; Maddox and Marina Loiselle, Bryce E. and Emma Jo Weber. Kent is predeceased by a sister, Gail S. Smith.
