Indianapolis, Indiana – Kentrell Lasaveon Ali Johnson, went home to peace on December 13, 2024. Kentrell was born in Kankakee, Illinois, on May 12, 2008, to parents Algina Johnson & Samuel Allen. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and team members. Kentrell was filled with goals along with aspirations to obtain success. Not only did he attend Warren Central High School but he also excelled at sports. Most notable football, basketball and track. An amazing young man exerting tremendous amounts of energy athletically……all while accepting responsibility of a respected employee at Jersey Mikes.
Furthermore, Kentrell was adored by his family. Often referred to as “A grown man in a little person's body” he was light years ahead of his time. He may have been the only and youngest brother but displayed a dominant big sibling role. Ushering an abundance of genuine love landed him the title of “Role model” amongst his cousins. Providing services such as landscaping and dog sitter landed him the title of “Model Citizen” amongst his peers. Kentrell loved music and dancing he also had a huge interest in barbequing, starting with his first grill when he was four.
Kentrell is preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Allen, aunt Nikki Allen, uncle Anthony McCollum and grandfather Alford Johnson. Kentrell leaves to cherish his memories Mother, Algina Johnson, Father, Samuel Allen; grandmother, Gwendolyn McCollum (Victor) sisters; Khalia Graham, Arshia Graham, Kharibian Allen, Jurmeni Allen, Kylie Allen, Kelsey Allen and nephew Kaiden Powell. A host of cousins, aunts and uncles as well as friends.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
