Kenyetta Shazier was born on December 14, 1972, in Port Huron, Michigan. She was the daughter of Annie Shazier. She departed this life at home on December 19, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio.
Kenyetta affectionately known as “Ken,” received her early education from the Ohio Public Schools and attended Briggs High School. She was employed at the Ohio State Fair as a housekeeper.
Ken was a caring and compassionate person that loved to help others. Being on the water and fishing was Ken’s happy place. She loved bingo and was extremely passionate about sports, especially basketball. Her favorite football team was the Cleveland Browns.
She is preceded in death by her mother Annie Shazier and her brother George Shazier.
Kenyetta Shazier leaves to cherish in her memory her siblings; Devon Shazier, Willetta Shazier-Davis (Thomas) and Terrance Shazier. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kenyetta was deeply loved by her family, friends and colleagues.
