Our hearts were saddened by the loss of our beloved, Keon Clanton, age 35, of Dinwiddie County, Virginia, who departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born May 11, 1986 to Carolyn Clanton and Kenneth Tucker.
Keon resided in Colonial Heights, VA and attended Dinwiddie County Public Schools. Keon was an extraordinary entrepreneur that took on many business ventures with a passion for his cleaning service.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother; Geneva Bell-C; grandfather, John Clanton; uncle, Kenny Clanton, and aunt, Doris Tucker.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving parents, Carolyn and Kenneth; devoted fiancé, Victoria Brown; three sons, Keon Clanton, Jr., Zi Niveon Clanton and Keelin Harvell; seven daughters, Ka-Niya Clanton, Javae Harvell, Kennedi Clanton, Madison Adams, Kaleah Clanton, Zi’Nijai Clanton, and Kensley Clanton; five brothers, Anthony Tucker (Ashley), Kenneth Clanton (Shequita), Kevin Pegram , Jervaris Clanton, and Dai-Shorn Clanton (Taneshia); two sisters, Mykisha Clanton (Gary) and Ken-Nisha Tarpley (Demarcus); grandparents Thomas Earl Tucker (Sarah); three aunts, Juliet Winfield (William), Tonya Clanton, and Yvette Clanton; three uncles; Calvin Tucker (Patricia), George Tucker, and John Brown (Joy), five god sisters, and brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; of them devoted, Ryan Grandison, Archie Walker, Kalreece Clanton, Milton Clanton, Greg Green and Calvin Tucker.
Keon was best known for his infectious laugh, personality and being a great father. He truly enjoyed living life and enjoying the ones he loved. To know him was to love him. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
A homegoing service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Smyrna Baptist Church, 18725 Carson Road, Dinwiddie. Burial will follow at the Clanton Family Cemetery, Carson, Virginia.
A Candlelight Vigil will be held on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at Ettrick Park.
