Keron Sue McDaniel, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Keron Sue McDaniel passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and love.
Keron was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Glyn McDaniel; her loving parents, Dudley and Jean Garriga; and her brother, Tom Garriga.
She is survived by her children, Stephanee McDaniel, Jennefer (Patrick) Taylor, James McDaniel, and Andrew McDaniel; her cherished grandchildren, Kathleen Taylor, Christian Taylor, and Keilah Taylor; and her brothers, Mark Garriga, Terry Garriga, and Tom (Trudy) Andrews. She also leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who deeply enriched her life and who were, in turn, blessed by her love and example.
A woman of profound faith, Keron was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life. Among her most cherished roles was serving as Stake Relief Society President, where her compassion, leadership, and unwavering testimony touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she raised, and the faith she exemplified.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19, from 10:00 a.m. until noon, followed by the funeral service at noon. Services will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 11148 Klein Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
