Kerry McCann Obituary

In loving remembrance, the family of Kerry Maura McCann, 57, of Downingtown, announces her passage to her eternal home on September 20, 2025.

Born in Westfield, NJ, Kerry was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth Anne (Kuchera) McCann and the late George Lawrence McCann. A lifelong Catholic, she found community and strength in her faith at both Saints Philip and James Catholic Church in Exton and later at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Downingtown.

Kerry dedicated over three decades to CoreLogic as a tax professional, where she was known not only for her expertise but also for her sharp wit and infectious humor. Her quick one-liners were legendary, bringing laughter to all and leaving a lasting impression on those around her.

Outside of work, Kerry's passions were as vibrant as her personality. She was a lifelong gardener who found joy among her flowers, tending her plants with patience and care. Her love for animals, especially dogs, was evident in her home, which was always shared with four-legged companions. She also loved to travel, and some of her fondest memories were made on trips with her parents. Of all the places she visited, Bryce Canyon held a special place in her heart, a reminder of the beauty she so deeply appreciated in the world around her. A proud and loving godmother and devoted aunt, Kerry was a generous supporter of her nieces' and nephews' interests and endeavors, contributing to causes they cared about such as diabetes research and animal welfare initiatives.

Kerry made a lasting impact through her generosity, her thoughtful contributions, and her ability to bring lightheartedness wherever she went. She also delighted in following the progress of her racehorses, a pursuit that filled her with pride and joy.

Kerry leaves behind her devoted mother, Elizabeth; her sisters, Kathleen Mary Cogswell (Paul), Colleen Megan McCann-Hancock (Mark), and Jennifer Tara Dimzoff (Rick); her beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is reunited in eternal life with her father, George, and her brothers, Sean Michael and Kevin Patrick.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:45-10:45 AM at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church, 723 Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341. The funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the church, with interment at All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
