Cameron Walker Dunn Kearney, 31, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Munich, Germany, Cameron was the beloved son of Jeffrey and Deborah (Dunn) Kearney.

A 2012 graduate of Downingtown West High School, Cameron was deeply involved in the school community. He played in the marching band and performed with the Stage West theater group, showcasing both his creativity and collaborative spirit. He was also a proud Eagle Scout with Troop 23 in Downingtown, a testament to his leadership, dedication, and service to others.

Cameron earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from West Chester University (WCU), graduating Summa Cum Laude. Cameron also earned a certificate in cybersecurity while at WCU. In addition, Cameron was a proud member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society for Software Engineers, recognized for his academic excellence, character, and passion for technology.

Outside the classroom and workplace, Cameron found joy in theater and swing dance. He had a vibrant imagination and loved storytelling, especially through role-playing games, where he often served as a Dungeon Master, guiding others through epic adventures with humor, creativity, and heart.

Cameron's generosity continues even in passing. As a participant in the Gift of Life donor program, his selfless decision has already brought hope and healing to 12 individuals. His contributions will also support vital research into Type 1 diabetes, reflecting his enduring legacy of compassion and service.

Cameron is lovingly survived by his siblings, Bennett and Meredith Kearney; and his paternal grandfather, John Kearney. He is also remembered with love by his aunts and uncles: Roberta Kearney, Anthony Kearney (Dawn), Brian Kearney (Donna), and Barbara Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carol Kearney, and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Olga Dunn.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Central Presbyterian Church, 100 W Uwchlan Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Cameron's name may be made to Critical Role Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
